- Empowering Youth, Advancing Rights, Restoring Hope
Give Hope Uganda
Give Hope Uganda (GHU) is a vibrant youth-led and youth-serving Community-Based Organization established in 2016 and registered in 2017.
We empower vulnerable adolescent girls, young women, children, and youth to lead healthy, dignified lives and realize their full potential.
Through sustainable programs, awareness campaigns, and community engagement, we promote access to sexual and reproductive health information and services, challenge harmful social norms, and advocate for human rights and equality.
-
To restore hope for children, youth, and women by enabling self-expression through sustainable programs that enhance access to sexual and reproductive health and rights, addressing all developmental issues regardless of gender, sexuality, or race.
-
A society where children, youth, and women live with dignity, equity, and opportunity through access to health, rights, and sustainable development opportunities.
-
GHU believes every girl child, youth, and woman has the right to live with dignity, equity, and opportunity. By empowering individuals, promoting human rights, and challenging harmful social norms, GHU creates environments where young people can thrive, make informed choices, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Strategic Objectives: Six Focus Areas
Expand access to quality education and healthcare
To improve access to quality education and essential healthcare services for vulnerable populations with a particular focus on adolescent girls and young women who face the greatest systemic barriers.
Strengthen SRHR awareness, access, and education
To enhance awareness of and access to Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services, information, and education equipping adolescents and young people to make informed, confident decisions about their health and bodies.
Keep children in school and learning
To increase enrolment and retention of children in schools, and to improve learning outcomes — ensuring that every child not only attends school, but gains the knowledge and skills to thrive beyond it.
End child marriage especially for girls
To significantly reduce the number of children particularly girls who are married before the age of 18, by dismantling the social, economic, and cultural drivers that place young lives at risk.
To promote access to clean water, adequate sanitation facilities, and sustainable hygiene practices across the communities. Give Hope Uganda serves recognizing that WASH is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of health, dignity, and educational participation, particularly for girls and women. Water (Clean and reliable access) Sanitation (Safe and dignified facilities) Hygiene (Education and behaviour change)
